Christian Aid Colour Day 2017

The school welcomed Mrs Norris from Christian Aid on Monday 15th May. She explained a little bit about the charity and their focus for this year's appeal. Christian Aid was started immediately after World War Two and its focus has always been on helping and supporting people who have been displaced and affected by war. As a Christian community we thought about how we can be kind and welcoming to everyone. On Tuesday we collected donations for the charity and parents and carers were welcomed into school in the afternoon to work on the challenge: If you were going on a journey which items would you prioritise to take with you and what would be your luxury item? Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative.
