Year 1 WWF Trip
Year 3 visited the World Wildlife Fund UK head office in Woking to learn more about the Amazon rainforest. After a tour of the exhibition space to find out about animals all over the world and the work of WWF we headed back to their classroom to write our own e-books about our favourite rainforest animals. We planned our page and then learned how to use an app called Book Creator which allows you to add sounds, photos and videos to the page. We enjoyed designing our page and writing facts about the animals before dressing up and interviewing each other on video to add to the pages. We also recorded rainforest noises to bring the page to life! The pages looked and sounded amazing!
We also learned about the destruction of the rainforests and how we can help to save the rainforests. We had a brilliant afternoon.
