Today we will share our natural art and note down some facts about Andy Goldsworthy.

In geography we are using an atlas to note down some rivers that we know about. List the rivers. Which rivers have you visited? What did you do on the river?

I have added several Purple Mash Games as a 2Do. The fractions ordering game matches the work we are doing in the classroom. The other games are excellent revision for our upcoming Maths Test.
We are learning about fronted adverbials providing information about PLACE, TIME, MANNER (Description). Go through the PPT and try to answer the questions.
We are learning a Christingle song. The words are attached. The tune is 'Sing Hosanna'.
In Computing we looked at plagiarism. The activities should be available for you to do on purple mash 2do Tim Berners-Lee AND the quiz.

Please write your letter to Dumbledore, requesting a place a Hogwarts in September next year. Use all the persuasive skills we have been using this term.
There are a range of ability based problem solving sheets attached. This week we are using our addition and subtraction skills to answer one and two step word problems.

This is a telling the time challenge linked to the Roman Numerals work.
When the children finish reading a book I love to see a book review. They can use the template attached or complete their own.
This is a useful blank sheet for practising weekly class spellings and colour spellings. The children should copy their words onto the form and look at the words. Then the children cover them over and then try to write them from memory. The children can mark their own then try again.
This is a useful PPT to continue to practise Roman Numerals. In Year 4 the children should be confident with Roman Numerals to 100. By Year 5 and 6 this extends to 1000.
