Today lots of families joined us at lunchtime for a picnic lunch in the playground. Everyone enjoyed sharing thier lunches, chatting with friends and playing together. After lunch the children and their families worked in house groups creating a poster to display their learning about a country that will be taking part in the Olympic games. 

Evie's dad brought into school some fantastic Olympic memorabelia from the 2012 London Olympics including the boxing gloves from gold medalist Nicola Adams, Sir Chris Hoy's cyling helmet and one of the torches that lit the London flame!
