The Eco Council have identified three areas to work on for the Green Flag application. They are Energy, Biodiversity and Waste.

Year 3 have been helping with the Energy section and have researched why we need to save energy and how we can reduce our energy use. 

They have written leaflets, some of which are shared in the photos, and they contain lots of important information about why we should save as much energy as we can as well as top tips for reducing our use of energy at home and at school. We now have energy monitors at school and they will be helping make sure we are turning off lights where possible and turning off whiteboard screens and other devices when not being used. Hopefully you will find the ideas useful too. Reducing our energy use will also save us some money as a result.
