Year 1 have been learning all about castles and were very excited to visit Windsor Castle. 

We enjoyed exploring the state apartments, St George's chapel and seeing the dollhouse. Year 1 liked seeing the soldiers marching around and did some great soldier impressions!

We learnt even more about castles in our workshop and enjoyed role playing different roles in a medieval castle. Miss Horth really enjoyed getting to be King of the castle! 

 

Year 1 trip to Windsor Castle 2022
