As part of our geography and science learning, Year 1 had a very exciting trip to Whipsnade Zoo. 

We got to see penguins, white rhinos, lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and many more. 

To support our Kenya learning we had a super workshop with Maddie who told us lots of interesting facts about lions, zebras and meerkats. Some of us even got to dress up at lions and zebras. 

A big highlight of the day was getting to enjoy playing in the amazing playground at Whipsnade.

We really enjoyed ourselves!
