We are looking at Castles as part of our history learning and decided to visit a real life castle! 

We had a wonderful day in the sunshine looking around the state apartments, seeing Queen Mary's doll house and visiting St George's Chapel. We learnt a lot of information in our workshop which was 'all about castles' and enjoyed acting out how a castle was defended. 

I think a huge highlight was seeing the soldiers and watching them march.
