Year 1 had a fantastic day at Winchester Science Centre.
There was so much to do and learn about!
We started our day with the Planetarium show where we took a trip around space and learnt lots of interesting facts about the planets. The seats were very comfy and it was a bit like being in a cinema.
We then got to look around and explore the science exhibits which were lots of fun. We could build in the building area, write our name and learn sign language, find out about sound and forces and lots more.
At school we have learnt about Neil Armstrong and Tim Peake and their space missions. During our workshop we designed and built our own rockets, testing to see how far they would fly. We made some super rockets.
Please do look at the pictures of our super day.
