Year 2 enjoyed a fantastic visit from Florence Nightingale this week. They learnt all about her early life, family and her calling to be a nurse. Year 2 enjoyed learning about how disgusting hospitals were and they made very good nurses to help Florence clean them up! They were particularly good at killing the rats and emptying the chamber pots!
