We have had a lovely week in Year 2.

We have started learning about time in Maths. The children have been looking at telling the time to the nearest hour and half hour so far.

In Geography, we have been learning all about China. We found out about school life in China and wrote some letters to children in China to find out even more. The children were shocked to find out that playtime did not seem to exist in Chinese schools!

The children love Art in Year 2 and we have based our work on China. They have drawn beautiful willow pattern pots and created colourful Chinese dragons. Today they are using clay to make a dragon model.
